The magic of AI Tutor -MYP 4 Physics- Sheeba Abraham

Objective of the Learning Engagement

To reinforce key Physics concepts and improve conceptual clarity by using the Toddle AI Tutor for targeted revision, personalized questioning, and instant feedback, enabling students to identify misconceptions and strengthen their understanding in preparation for assessments.

Learning Engagement:

The AI tutor feature on Toddle was introduced to me by Dr. Meetu Agarwal. As the time for revision approached, I decided to utilize this tool to kickstart the revision process. Upon logging into the Create AI Tutor feature, several options were available. I chose the Mastery Builder, where I input the syllabus for the upcoming Physics assessment.

The AI then generated a set of instructions along with an AI rating scale, allowing students to be placed at different levels: Beginning, Emerging, Developing, and Mastery. Once the students were assigned their respective levels, the AI guided them with progressively more challenging questions. Upon submitting their work, the AI evaluated their performance, provided a level-based assessment, and offered feedback on their strengths and areas for improvement for that topic.

My experience with the new AI tool on Toddle has been excellent. It helps us understand our strengths and weaknesses and shows how we can improve. It's a great way to revise all the topics in one place, along with valuable feedback. The questions are also based on the topics we have covered, and the AI provides us with excellent questions to practice.

The feedback I received is quite detailed and informative. It effectively highlights my strengths in various areas, encouraging me to recognize where I excel, such as my understanding of Newton's laws and my ability to apply formulas correctly. Additionally, it identifies specific areas for improvement, which are important for my growth. The suggestions for next steps give me a concrete plan to enhance my understanding and skills further. Overall, the feedback offers a balanced view of my performance and valuable guidance for future development.

This is a fantastic new approach to learning with these tools.

Student Reflection-By Darsh Chaudhary
I'd say that my experience with the new AI tool on Toddle has been absolutely amazing. The new tool has helped me deepen my understanding quite a lot. It has helped me revise the concepts on various topics and has helped me strengthen my overall understanding of various topics. The AI tool also provides me with feedback and provides me with detailed context on each topic as well as a follow-up question.

All in all, I'd say that the AI is absolutely fabulous. It is a tool I certainly plan on using much more due to its complexity in terms of the feedback and its amazing responses and questions.

My reflection as an Educator-
I was truly amazed by how fully engaged the entire class was while responding to the questions generated by the AI. Students were actively learning as they answered, thanks to the real-time, instant feedback provided by the AI. What really hooked them was the way the AI gradually increased the level of difficulty—moving seamlessly from simple to more complex questions—which kept them motivated and challenged.

But what made this AI tool truly powerful was its ability to provide personalized feedback—clearly outlining each student’s strengths and areas for improvement based on their responses. The impact was so profound that students didn’t even realize the bell had rung and the lesson had ended. To my surprise, they were so impressed that they shared their experience with teachers of other subjects—and two of them even approached me, curious to learn more about this AI feature the students had been raving about.

One moment that stood out was seeing a student confidently solving numerical problems, including SUVAT equations and even analyzing graphs. It felt surreal—there was pin-drop silence in the room, with every student deeply focused. A thought crossed my mind: "Will I be replaced? Is the teacher even needed anymore?"

Making Biology Fun: A Hands-On Approach to Cell Organelles- MYP 1 Science-Bhavesh Bhadaraka

Objective of the Learning Engagement: The objective of this learning engagement is to help students understand the structure and functions of cell organelles through an analogical approach by comparing cell organelles to components of a house, café, or office. This approach will foster creativity, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of cellular biology. Students will also develop their inquiry skills by acting as Socratic thinkers, generating critical questions for further exploration. Details of the Learning Engagement: Project Task :  Students were assigned to build a sustainable model of a house, café, or working office using household materials. Analogical Connection: Students then connected components of their models to cell organelles, such as: Cell membrane: Entrance/security gate (controls what goes in and out) Nucleus: Manager’s office (controls overall operations) Mitochondria: Power supply room (provides energy) Endoplasmic reticulum: Hallways for staff moveme...
